Sunday Weed Control Products

Weeds are part of lawn care. But most traditional weed control products contain harsh chemicals that are connected to a variety of health and environmental problems. As unwanted as weeds may be, using toxic chemicals to remove them is just not worth the risk, especially when there is a better and easier way. Our goal is to reduce pesticide use by helping you grow a strong, lush lawn that crowds out weeds naturally. When weeds do poke through, our targeted approach will take care of the weeds with as little product as possible. That way we can get rid of the weeds with as little disruption to your natural lawn ecosystem as possible.

Weed Warrior

Weed Warrior is our fast-acting weed killer that stops weeds, grasses, algae, and moss. Weed Warrior is approved for organic gardening, but as a non-selective weed and grass killer it should only be used as a spot treatment and not on your lawn.

What’s in It:

Weed Warrior uses ammonium soap of fatty acids to create a non-staining herbicidal soap. An OMRI listed product, Weed Warrior is certified organic under the USDA’s National Organic Program.

How it Works:

Our ready-to-use formula penetrates the waxy cuticle of plants, causing weeds, grasses, algae, and moss to dehydrate and die. Results are visible in as little as 20 minutes.

Weed Warrior is effective on most weeds including black medic, crabgrass, creeping buttercup, chickweed, white clover, corn spurry, dandelion, dovefoot geranium, english daisy, fleabane, groundivy, groundsel, healall, lambsquarter, lichens, liverworts, moss, plantain, wild mustard, oxalis, roadside aster, rough cocklebur, thistle, mallow, shepherd’s purse, speedwell, sunflower, wild chamomile, moss, algae, and more.

Dandelion Doom

Dandelion Doom is a selective weed killer that is built iron-tough to kill broadleaf weeds without harming your lawn. A powerful weed killer, Dandelion Doom uses iron (Fe) and cutting-edge plant science to attack weeds at their root while strengthening grass.

What’s in It:

Dandelion Doom uses a specially formulated iron chelate solution to naturally kill troublesome weeds down to the root while boosting grass resilience. Our special formula is made with Iron HEDTA (FeHEDTA) an EPA approved biopesticide ingredient, and since Dandelion Doom is approved by the EPA’s Biopesticide Division, it is ideal for areas where pesticide bans exist. Results are visible in just hours.

How it Works:

Broadleaf weeds absorb Dandelion Doom easily and in larger quantities than grass does. This causes the unwanted plants to experience cellular damage which ultimately kills the weeds, all without harming your lawn. In fact, the Iron (Fe) actually boosts grass green up and resilience for a stronger, weed-free, lawn.

Dandelion Doom is effective on broadleaf weeds like black medic, burweed, common chickweed, clover,  creeping charlie, dandelions, dovefoot geranium, english daisy, groundivy, liverworts, mock strawberry, healall, knotweed, oxalis, plantain, shepherd’s purse, silverweed, speedwell, thistle, white clover, wild chamomile, and moss, algae, lichens, and more. It also suppresses diseases such as dollar spot, rust, snow mold and more.
